Your Qualifications
- Completed industrial-technical (e.g. Food Technology Specialist or similar) or skilled trade training, ideally with additional qualification as a Master Craftsman or Industrial Foreman
- Previous professional experience, preferably in the food industry, is an advantage
- Strong teamwork skills, collegial attitude, and excellent communication skills
- High level of quality awareness, particularly regarding occupational safety and hygiene
- Quick comprehension and strong analytical skills
- Reliability, flexibility, willingness to learn, and ability to work under pressure
- Openness to change
- Good technical understanding
- Basic knowledge of quality assurance and management systems (ISO/HACCP)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to accurately document important information and ensure thorough communication during shift handovers and with adjacent departments
- Independent, careful, and responsible working style, with sound decision-making skills and the ability to lead and work effectively with people
Your Responsibilities
Following a comprehensive onboarding period, you will be responsible as a Machine Shift Supervisor for ensuring product and process safety, as well as monitoring, maintaining, and documenting the ongoing starch, extrusion, and pregelatinized flour production processes during your shift.
You will lead your shift team, ensuring a clean and organized workplace while promoting quality-conscious working practices. Your responsibilities will also include shift planning and vacation scheduling, monitoring conveying systems, supervising equipment cleaning, and overseeing vehicle weighing operations.
